Sadira’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and general corporate advice. She has extensive experience in negotiating project finance and asset based lending transactions for both borrowers and lenders. She also works on commercial transactions: from an acquisition or a divesture to creative structuring of private corporations, partnership or franchise transactions, she can provide sound advice from the preliminary establishment of the business relationship through to the negotiating, drafting and closing of the deal. Her work has included the acquisition by Sobeys of the assets of Canada Safeway for approximately $5.8 billion.
