Lauren is a detail-oriented associate who explores all legal avenues of an issue, translating findings into simple, practical and effective advice for her clients. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate, banking and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions and private equity funds.

Lauren’s representative experience includes:

• Acting for both purchasers and vendors in connection with acquisitions, including Cooke Aquaculture’s $500 million dollar acquisition of publicly traded Omega Protein Corporation – one of the largest foreign investment deals a New Brunswick company has completed in the United States.
• Acting for lenders and borrowers in connection with significant commercial financings and re-financings, including with respect to wind farm development projects.
• Working with institutional investors (such as pension plans) in connection with their investments in private equity funds, infrastructure funds and real estate funds. This includes reviewing, advising and negotiating investment documentation including limited partnership agreements, management service agreements, side letters, MFN Elections and subscription agreements.
