Olivia practices in the areas of Health Law, Human Rights, Insurance, Labour & Employment, and Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution. Drawing on an educational background in English literature and Psychology, she leverages her strong analytical and communication skills with an understanding of the human element of legal problems to find best solution for clients.
Olivia’s representative experience includes:
- Conducting research and drafting briefs on undue hardship and duty to accommodate for a grievance involving accommodation of drug addiction.
- Assisting with the preparation of employer submissions to labour relations board on union applications for certification.
- Assisting with research and affidavits for grievance of terminations for safety infractions.
- Providing termination advice for employers.
- Drafting briefs for mediation on wrongful termination.
- Conducting research and preparing coverage and liability opinions.
