Graham is an associate in the firm’s Tax, Estates and Wealth Management practice group. Prior to this, he clerked for the Justices of the Tax Court of Canada. Graham works with corporations, directors and individuals on a wide range of complex tax and corporate matters. Examples of Graham’s work include:
Tax
- Advising clients with respect to income tax, sales tax, excise tax and other tax positions, audits and assessments
- Representing corporations, non-profit companies and charities through the tax dispute resolution process
- Planning and implementing corporate structures and reorganizations alongside accountants and other professional advisors
Corporate & Commercial
- Advising businesses from incorporation through operations, investments and exit
- Assisting clients engaged in corporate acquisitions from initial due diligence through negotiation and closing
- Acting as agent for national and international law firms with respect to the laws and entities incorporated under the laws of Atlantic Canada
Estates & Trusts
- Advising clients as to appropriate estate planning techniques given their individual circumstances
- Representing executors, trustees and beneficiaries through estate and trust administration and dispute resolution
